Happy 50th Anniversary to my parents! For their gift, I made them a scrapbook, highlighting many events in their lives.

The album was a big hit with my parents and with guests at a big party we held for them. 

This is the cover page. I used the Bliss paper pack and stickease. I added flowers and butterflies. I'll post pictures of the rest of the album in coming days.

There are no pictures from their actual wedding, so I used a picture from a prom - they look very bridal like - don't you think?

The picture in the bottom left is from a while ago when they were at my wedding.

My message is that time moves so very fast and most of the time we do too. But, we can choose (with practice) to slow down and to savor simple everyday moments. We can pull out our cameras and take pictures and we can live with these pictures and let them work magical things inside of us. Doing so will make us more grateful, more content, more aware and more happy. There is so much that is overwhelming and challenging in life. Efforts to capture and share your memories should be neither.

I am just finishing up a few days at Close To My Heart's Annual convention. I am so inspired by all the art work - I would like to take the rest of the summer off and craft all day!

I am hoping to carve out more time for workshops and classes going forward because it makes me so happy and it is great way to spend time with my favorite friends!
